Review: A nine-year-old boy (Martin Stuhrk) named Kalli entertains a fantasy that he is the king of his neighborhood and starts his own zoo with the help of two of his friends (David Kotter, Pino Severino-Geysen) in the Summer of 1960. Unfortunately, his parents and the local priest often burst his bubble, especially when it comes to visiting a woman with a questionable reputation, who happens to be fond of Kalli and helps him care for his pet monkey on the sly, the zoo's official exhibit. Also, the mother of our hero's girlfriend (Michelle Barthel) isn't overly pleased with her daughter's choice of friends, tries to keep the kids apart.
